Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland increases growth by expanding its activities into Nissewaard region. The acquisition of a dental clinic has been realized per March 1^st, 2021. Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland will move the clinic to a newly built healthcare center in December 2021.

The healthcare center project is being carried by renowned developer ‘Built by De Wildt’ (BbDW). The latter will host a pharmacy, a physiotherapist, two groups of medical doctors, and Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland’s dental clinic. The healthcare center is aimed to officially open in January 2022.

The capacity of the current dental clinic will be enhanced by enlarging the number of treatment rooms and other tangible investments in the new healthcare center. Disciplines such as implantology, orthodontics and periodontology are included whilst being provided during extensive opening times. The group is honored and glad to announce this new collaboration with dentist Shkar Abdelqader.

What does art mean to you?

For me, art is a form of freedom, a way to get out of the everyday concrete reality and to gain experiences in a more abstract way. Art invites one to critical thinking and is a form of recording the reflection of our social consciousness and conscience.

Were you exposed to art while growing up?

Apart from visiting museums, there was not necessarily an active and conscious focus on arts at home. The real start of the development in art came later when I visited the opening of the PAN art fair at the invitation of my close friend Mark Mouthaan and his father Floor. Mainly by looking and experiencing a lot, I slowly but surely found my way.

How often do you buy art each year?

This depends entirely on what is happening during the year, on the works you come across and those of artists you have been working on for some time. In recent years, we have built up a corporate collection, called the Lakeside Collection, and we have become a member of the Netherlands Association of Corporate Art Collections.

Is it important that you and your partner always agree on a purchase?

I am free to make purchases as I see fit; privately too because there is no partner in the picture. For my private collection for the corporate collection, I am advised by an art consultant. Like a love affair, however, when it comes to art it starts with falling in love.

As of January 2021, Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland entered its 8^th year of operations. In this period of COVID-19 pandemic a lot of uncertainties have occurred. Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland continued to acquire dental clinics and invest in getting new locations ready for opening in the Benelux region to service high quality dentistry.

A horizontal organizational structure with dynamic interaction in between the different fields of management’s and staff’s expertise, alongside creating an engaging and motivating corporate culture has proven still to be the correct methods in realizing strong growth.

In 2020 the group has realized a growth of 32% in revenues. Therefore, management and shareholders are still confident in further accelerating the roll-out of the chosen strategy.
